About

I’m Tolulope, a software architect in Canada working on payments and investments. I like building systems that are dependable, and explaining how things work in a way that’s easy to follow.

Work

I’ve spent close to ten years at Scotiabank, where I’ve been a Software Architect since March 2026. Before that I worked as a software engineer, senior software engineer and technical lead, building microservices for payments and wealth products and leading engineering squads through design, delivery and cloud work.

Earlier, I was a web developer at Native Touch. I hold a Master of Applied Science in Software Engineering from Concordia University (2015).

Personal projects

  • ToluExplains: short educational and documentary videos that explain ideas simply.
  • CelebConnect: an app I’m building as a personal project.
